  1. Once it's downloaded, it should be as simple as double-clicking it, and it should install by itself.
  2. Bummer
  3. Yep, definitely the easiest way. However ... ... this shouldn't be. Can you describe what you're seeing?
  4. What are the pixel dimensions of the file?
  5. Um, no you haven't. It still looks yellow to me.
  6. Yeah. Calibration does NOT last that long.
  7. Sure, just add a Hue/Saturation layer, go to "Yellows", and increase the Lightness slider all the way to +100.
  8. No, the pink you see is because of this:
  9. That's ok, we can change it easily. Which would you like to change - the background yellower or the rug whiter?
  10. No no no, you MUST choose a background that's akin to the existing background. This won't work at all.
  11. Sure! For which photo? It might work for either the first or second.
  12. Have you been incorporating it into your editing?
  13. No, read the instructions again
  14. I'm not Brian, but could you do this for us?
  15. I understand why you say "unfortunately", but of course it's a good thing to have technical problems out of the way. It should only be a week or two until you have an opportunity to upgrade the Raw Class.
  16. Ok, so are you satisfied that your calibrated screen matches your pro lab prints exactly?
  17. Actually, if we took a poll, I expect we might find that 17% was slightly higher than average. So yes, very typical. Yeah, no. At first, you'll think it's worse. The purpose of calibration is not to make your screen look lovely. It's to make it match your prints, period. As long as it does that, it doesn't matter how much you hate it. Believe me, when you receive your first new set of post-calibration prints, and see how they turned out exactly the way you expected, THEN you'll love it.
  18. Adobe RGB is very bad. And your 100% crop was in ProPhoto RGB, which is completely disastrous. Did you follow my troubleshooter all the way to the end, to fix the problem?
  19. After calibration, have you confirmed it against your own pro lab prints? Which lab do you use?
  20. Your focus is excellent, by the way. No problems there. But that's not to say you're in the clear with this issue. We need to explore other causes.
  21. Oh gee, you have a REALLY serious problem with your colour space. Fix it here. Which brings me to the next question - have you seen the print she's complaining about?
  22. This photo suggests that you haven't read the Raw Class that you signed up for months and months ago. Please don't wait any longer to do so. Also, please read this if you haven't already.
  23. http://ask.damiensymonds.net/topic/131-read-this-first-posting-guidelines/
  24. Yeah, that's probably as clean as it's going to get.
