The great news is that none of your subjects have any limbs or hair or anything extruding beyond your seamless. So that will make your job a lot easier. However, it's still not an "easy" job.

I think you're missing the point. The act of saving as a PDF automatically makes all images jpegs. Please don't go back and change anything now. But for future reference, it's ok (better, in fact, from a workflow point of view) to simply use your master PSDs. I need to know what pdf advice they've given. About resolution, and size, and stuff. What info do you have from them?
-
PSDs. Making intermediate jpeg files before placing them in a design is just unnecessary clutter for your hard drive. Not just tricky. Sometimes, impossible Well, that depends on the purpose for which you're making the PDF file. Is it for print, or for emailing to people, or for people to download from your website ... ?

We never did find out how Dom went with this.

Did you happen to see any of these three? this one this one or this one?
-
Still WAY too soft. I strongly urge you to fill the mask with black, then start the painting again.
-
And can you also do the Alt-click thing and show me the black-and-white mask screenshot?

Yeah, that mask along the roof line is MUCH too soft. You need to use a MUCH smaller brush.

Can you Alt-click on the mask of the sky layer, to show the mask in black and white, then take a screenshot to show me?
-
Are you using this?
-
Yep, that's excellent. Really perfect. So there's no mystery here. You simply need to mask your sky layer a LOT more accurately along the roof line.
-
Yeah, no, that's useless. You HAVE to get the print.
-
No, that's not what Christina asked. We need to know the pixel dimensions.
-
No, that's the opposite of what I asked for

Copied and flipped the other eye, and rotated it into place. Then masked it. Then added a dodge and burn layer to make the shadowing look (hopefully) realistic.
