  1. Yes. But seriously, you don't need to be in 16-bit at all.
  2. It refers to the colour profile of your photos. You can check it by following this.
  3. Oh, yay! I think that will work! Put his leg in there (using a mask, of course) then borrow green foliage from the other side of the photo to fill in the rest of the space where the chair is.
  4. What? Just double-click it in Bridge, and it will open in ACR. Do your adjustments as usual, then press the "Open Image" button.
  5. Just post it here please.
  6. Oh, crap, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! http://www.damiensymonds.net/importing-video
  7. I'm sorry to say the hands in the middle of the photo are beyond redemption. The arm on the right can sort of be fixed, though.
  8. Do you happen to have another photo showing that guy's pants and legs? Because that's what we'd need, to transplant in there.
  9. If you already own every single piece of camera gear that you desire, and if you have spare cash that you don't need for anything else, then yes, by all means spend it on a w-g monitor. But if there's a new lens you're lusting after, or a piece of lighting equipment, or something, do the wise thing and save your extra money towards that. A normal-gamut monitor is fine. http://www.damiensymonds.net/art_monitor.html
  10. That doesn't answer the question. Why wide gamut? http://www.damiensymonds.net/2011/08/buying-wide-gamut-screen.html
  11. Well, that's a good question. May I ask why you're considering a wide-gamut monitor?
  12. Oops! http://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/07/raw-noise-removal.html
  13. Oh gosh, this is a tough one! Do you mind sending me the raw file?
  14. I'm so sorry, I don't understand the question. Can you flesh it out a bit for me?
  15. Hell no you won't. Do your raw processing properly FIRST.
  16. That is SUCH a good question. It's just something you get a feel for after a while. I don't have a better answer than that, sorry.
  17. Oh, those bloody idiots! It's ok, just edit as normal, then use Edit>Convert Profile to convert to Adobe RGB just before saving for submission.
  18. Well, I'm not sure about "perfect". Some cloning etc is still likely to be needed, I guess. But it should help a lot.
  19. Hmmm ... try Dust & Scratches filter at about 30/3.
  20. Of course you'll see it on Facebook. That's just Facebook.
  21. Yep, no banding visible to me either.
