  1. A levels layer, with the black slider on the Red channel at about 30, and the black slider on the Green channel at about 20.
  2. Doesn't matter, does it? If they all match, and they all match the pro lab prints ... ?
  3. Well, don't even recalibrate yet. Just compare the prints again. Is it a good light? Nice and white, and bright? Not dim or yellow?
  4. Ok, fix your lighting then re-assess, and let me know what you conclude. Then we can discuss further.
  5. That's not Assign Profile, it's Convert. And no, Convert doesn't mean anything. However, if you close that Convert window and toggle Ctrl Y off and on, does the same yellow change happen?
  6. Hmmm ... usually this problem occurs when a desktop screen is plugged into a laptop. It shouldn't happen on a laptop alone. So your settings are definitely correct per this?
  7. Have you read this? Could your lighting be the problem?
  8. No they don't. Stop saying that. Your prints are what they are. Ok, so when you got to the troubleshooting section of my calibration instructions, is that the approach you took? That your screen was too cold?
  9. Ok, let's start by dealing with Facebook, then we'll see what else needs fixing. http://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tsfb000.html
  10. Great. So this is only a Facebook problem? What about other websites?
  11. No they're not. The prints are what they are. Then never change. I need you to describe the screen in comparison to the prints. Fill in the blank: "My screen is ________ (warmer/colder) than my prints."
  12. Let's boil this down to the core. Do you have a match between Photoshop and your pro lab prints?
  13. So you're saying that Photoshop, Bridge and Facebook all match each other?
  14. Terrific. So explain the problem to me. In what way is your screen differing from your pro lab prints?
  15. Not at all. Are these the instructions you've been following?
  16. That's exactly what I'm here for. Post in this section as often as you like.
  17. I can't discuss raw processing here.
  18. Well, isn't that the point? Aren't you just seeing everything bigger now?
  19. That doesn't seem like a good recommendation to me. Better to resize them exactly, then sharpen them appropriately, then upload them.
  20. What screen did you have before?
