  1. Yeah, one light wouldn't be enough, I'd say. Your light needs to be lovely and bright.
  2. As long as your ceiling is white.
  3. This is exactly why I don't recommend lamps. They're too directional. Was ceiling light not an option in your space?
  4. Concentrate on the computer for now. If you have to use your existing monitor for a little longer while you save for another one, that's ok. Where are you? Which country, I mean?
  5. The fade looks great!!! You nailed it. Parts of the baby's skin look a bit green to me, though. Or cyan, perhaps.
  6. I've heard other people say that too. I don't know, sorry. Funny ol' Facebook.
  7. Yeah, that looks better.
  8. DO NOT GET ONE OF THOSE.
  9. Hi Cynthia, have a browse through the Ask Brian section. This is been discussed a number of times.
  10. Lovely. What's your intention for the background? It would be very easy to replace it, to remove that clutter. Do you intend to do so?
  11. Ok, good, so the TOGGLE profile isn't corrupt. I'm so sorry, I don't know. Everything seems to be working the way it should, I don't know why you're not seeing your screen change when you choose TOGGLE.
  12. Good, so does mine. So we know the DisplayProfile app is working that far, at least. What about if you open a photo (any photo) in Photoshop, go to Edit>Assign Profile, and assign the "TOGGLE" profile. Do you see a difference to the photo? It should make it slightly lighter and a bit duller in colour.
  13. If you click on one of the "gmmp" profiles, does it throw you an error message?
  14. That sure is odd. Have you restarted since the last calibration?
  15. So when you click on TOGGLE, then back again, you see no change?
  16. No, that's not what I meant at all. Read the instructions again.
  17. It works fine for me on Win10. May I see a screenshot of your DisplayProfile program?
  18. Then that suggests a faulty calibrator, wouldn't you think? Have you raised this with X-Rite?
  19. Is the problem exactly the same as with the previous monitor? Both "pink blurry messes"?
  20. What calibrator is it?
  21. Further to that, have you ever soft-proofed?
  22. Oh, I'm sure I've heard of a plug-in that will do this, but I can't remember it I'm going to move this post to the general discussion area, in hopes that somebody else knows.
  23. No, sorry. Look for a sharper one.
