  1. Sorry @dain it's too old, I don't have it any more.
  2. Well ... you hadn't done so in the screenshot you showed me.
  3. Are you remembering to click on the little colour swatch below the gradient before sampling grey?
  4. Yes, of course you must only brush in one direction. From background towards the people.
  5. This method: https://www.damiensymonds.net/preventing-banding-in-backdrops/ https://max.mailbigfile.com/c74bce897a200b06d35494ceda44e668/listFiles.php
  6. Are you also wanting to smooth the wrinkled flooring?
  7. I don't, sorry. I just kinda brushed downwards until it smoothed out. If you shift-click on the mask thumbnail on the layer in the layers panel, you'll see what I mean.
  8. I used the Mixer Brush tool. https://max.mailbigfile.com/5f7b2bcdd33d2b07c07808c5f5c908ed/listFiles.php
  9. Is this what you had in mind?
  10. How bizarre. How are you saving the jpeg? I mean, are you using "Save As", or "Save for web", or "Export" or whatever? Never mind, I see it.
  11. Hmmm ... this problem used to plague my website, but I haven't had it for a couple of years. Can you try downsizing the image to 1500px before uploading?
  12. Hi @Aitchess, yes, I reckon I can help with this. Can you go ahead and do your raw processing on the photo in the usual way, then post it again for me?
  13. I'm so sorry @dain, I can't discuss class matters outside of class. https://www.damiensymonds.net/trainingraw.html
  14. Hi @Sancurtis, this happens to everyone from time to time, don't worry. It simply means your layer thumbnails have been turned off. Click here: And choose "Panel Options". When that window opens, you'll find that your Thumbnail Size has been set to "None". Change it to a larger size.
  15. Photoshop Elements doesn't require a monthly fee. https://www.damiensymonds.net/what2buy_soft.html And of course make sure you install Bridge as well.
  16. You're right, I'd never heard of a glossy US before this.
  17. The Dell Ultrasharp range are a good place to be looking. Just make sure it's matte.
  18. No. Avoid avoid avoid.
  19. I suppose it must have, yes. As long as you've checked that you've got the real files, and you can open them, then I see no reason not to delete these weird "dot" files.
  20. They seem to have a dot at the beginning of the filename. How strange. Why do you have jpeg files?
  21. @Lcrutledge STOP PUTTING YOUR PHOTOS IN THE POSTING GUIDELINES THREAD. I will keep deleting them. Start a new post for each photo.
  22. It definitely should work. Can you try it again? In Photoshop, go to File>Open. Choose a raw file. It should pop up in Camera Raw.
  23. It is literally impossible for a raw file to go straight from Bridge to Photoshop. It HAS to go through Camera Raw. That's why I asked:
