  1. Yep, your first step is to recalibrate with a lower brightness setting to achieve a match. Remind me which Spyder you have?
  2. Have the prints arrived yet, @Lcrutledge?
  3. I'm happy to review them if you'd like to post them.
  4. Do the raw processing, and then press "Done". That's all you need to do. You don't need to bring the photos into Photoshop at all.
  5. Yes, using Image Processor. Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor.
  6. If the rest of your house is Daylight bulbs, then it would be a great idea to use them in your editing space as well. Consistency is good. Three isn't really enough

  8. Have you received prints from them yet?
  9. By golly, well done. Yes, the second one should work, and even the first one at a pinch.
  10. Hmmm ... do you have any other photos of him that would adequately provide that little tiny bit of his missing face?
  11. I'm confused by your question. Have you read the Bridge Class in its entirety?
  12. Talk to me, @Lcrutledge. In what way does your screen differ from your prints?
  13. Yep, this is excellent.
  14. Yeah, it only works for very mild moire.
  15. How did it go, @Wally?
  16. When it's very mild like this, these simple steps should work okay: Duplicate the Background layer Change the layer blend mode to "Color" Apply 3-4px of Gaussian Blur to the layer Mask on.
  17. Wouldn't that be great?? If you discover a way, can you let me know?
  18. Can you just right-click in that black space and choose a different shade?
  19. A huge part of the class is black balance. Black balance problems aren't limited to old photos - they can occur in modern digital photos too.
  20. You'll learn about this in the Advanced Levels Class.
