    From my testing, Edge seems to be fairly colour-accurate, if that's what you mean.

    I would say Module 2 of the Layer & Masks Class, Module 4 of the Raw Class, and the first few slides of Module 6 of the Levels Class.

    Sorry, I don't have a technique for that You'll just have to do your best with Photoshop's stupid "Select and Mask" feature.
