Very easy to change it to white, or to any colour at all. Just hit Cmd Opt Shift 2 (plain 2, not F2) to get marching ants, then Cmd Shift I to invert the selection, then add a Solid Color layer.

The tricky thing about all black watermarks is that they don't work well on dark backgrounds.

Right, so why doesn't he use Bridge? You have to break out of the DNG thing. It's such a hassle for backups.
