  1. Because if you have to fix the mask on the fox (which I think you will have to, it looks a bit rough along its back) you don't need to re-mask two layers, of course. What do you think of it? Suitably shaded considering its location?
  2. You have to recalibrate after doing this. Have you done so?
  3. Whaat? No, it's perfect, I assure you.
  4. This is unlikely to be because of a Bridge update. It seems more likely to be because of an ACR update. Either way, it's annoying. Can you try it without anything?
  5. Did you actually import the photos using Bridge? Or just copy them from card to hard drive then browse them with Bridge afterwards?
  6. What about older photos that used to be ok? Are they still ok, or have they rotated now too?
  7. Oh, somebody else reported this problem too. What about when you open them into ACR? Still landscape?
  8. What? No, of course not! You blend the two skies together.
  9. Great! Now, if you still want the other sky, it shouldn't be any trouble to put it in.
  10. No, just clip it. Ctrl Alt G. PLEASE don't wait any longer to take the Layers & Masks Class.
  11. Good! Maybe use a Hue/Sat layer to slightly darken the grass around its base?
  12. No, there should be an entirely white mask on that layer, and it should be clipped to the fox layer.
  13. Gosh, great work getting rid of the brown dog!!! Well done. Now, regarding plausibility, the fox is too bright. I'd add a Hue/Saturation layer immediately above the fox layer, and clip it thereto. Then lower the Lightness slider a bit (maybe to about -15?).
  14. No, just the adjustment layers. Leave the pixel layers turned on.
  15. Could you temporarily turn off all the adjustment layers and show me photo?
  16. However ... There's not enough source detail to use the clone tool. You'll need to find another photo where the brown dog wasn't standing in that patch of grass, so you can transpose that area.
  17. Great. So if you wish to edit the brown dog, you duplicate the "Background copy" layer. Don't duplicate the Background layer.
  18. We'll worry about that later. Put the tower in where you want it for now.
  19. What editing have you done on the "Background copy" layer so far?
  20. Well, why don't you try putting the tower into the photo first, then we'll discuss sky options.
