  1. If you still have the originals, can you try converting again? To see if it was a glitch?
  2. In your action, record yourself adding a layer. Any layer at all, it doesn't matter. Then record Layer>Arrange>Bring to Front. (That will ensure that the layer you just made is on top. If it was already on top, great!). Then, record yourself deleting that layer. I hope this makes sense.
  3. Again - I really can't answer questions about backdrops until I can see the backdrops. This is MUCH too dark.
  4. Better do it before you go any further.
  5. Well ... there's a lot that bothers me about this photo. How long since you last checked your screen calibration? I mean, actually compared the screen to your pro lab prints?
  6. Hi @beth0386, what troubles you about it, exactly? Is it just the edges that I can see you've fixed here? Or is there more that's bothering you?
  7. @Brian, do you have any wisdom about the lighting used for these?
  8. Ok yeah, that's natural light, but it's not just any old natural light. It's very carefully positioned - still high and small like the others. And again, not the same race as your subjects. It matters.
  9. No. There's nothing natural about her light.
  10. How did the calibration go, @Maggie Collins?
  11. How did the calibration go, @RachFarber?
  12. How's the calibration/lighting situation now, @Jenny_11?
  13. Please @cathm?
  14. How did you go with this, @meris?
  15. Any luck, @cathm?
  16. Oh, that's excellent! Yes, you should use 250ppi. YOU do it, not the lab. Choose your Crop Tool, enter "20in" and "30in" for the size, and "250" for the resolution, then crop. Then sharpen. I beg you not to print such a large photo until you've taken the Sharpening Class.
  17. I'm pretty sure they recommend 300ppi. But check their site to make sure.
  18. Your lab's website should tell you. Which lab do you use?
  19. I'm so sorry mate, I have NFI. You're the second person to mention this. The other person had to re-record the action from scratch.
  20. I've moved this into @Brian's section because I don't know much about Macs.
