Oh yeah, sampling will only get you so far. Then you have to manually modify the colours. Also, have you moved the gradient around? I'm pretty sure I dragged mine to the left a bit.

Looks like the inner colour needs to be a bit lighter?

Always Jpeg. Never PNG. You have to start over completely. Getting the logo the correct size is a crucial first step of the whole process.

We always talk glibly about "removing something from the background", but of course that's not really what we're doing at all, is it? We're putting something else IN to the background. I'm sure you can find another photo in the set where that tree is visible without the person in front of it? And you can swap it in?

I'm glad you like it. Let me know how you go reproducing it. To be honest, I probably didn't need to do the gradient for the floor. It should have been easy enough just to clone it.

Calibration needs to be done once a month. It is NOT more cost-effective to have somebody else do it.

Just to mention something which I'm sure you already know ... when you're preparing the file for print, make sure you flatten the layers before cropping and sharpening.

No. This is just an issue with your screen, not the file. Your file is fine, and should print fine too. In some cases it can, but not the way you've done it here. You've done it nice and safely.
