  1. Ok, first of all let's fix the most serious problem. https://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tscs000.html
  2. No, they don't need to be physically connected. I'm sorry, what you're aiming for is almost impossible. It's very difficult even with good screens, but with POS Mac screens it's a bridge too far, I'm afraid. I don't have instructions for the S4E, but the S5E ones won't be miles different. Have you tried following them? https://www.damiensymonds.net/cal_S5Elite_mac1.html
  3. Well, generally it's caused by poor maintenance of the printer.
  4. Your files are perfect, I promise. This is not your problem. You can legitimately demand reprints.
  5. No, actually send them to me please. Via the link I gave.
  6. Hi Monique, do you mind sending me the exact print files that you sent to the lab, so I can take a close look at them?
  7. Well, colour space seems like a moot point at the moment, if you can't even open photos. Let's get this sorted first.
  8. Oh yes, it's very robust. It only cleans up the clutter.
  9. Well, that's the thing, we can't possibly guess. Over the years I've seen lack of hard drive space being responsible for all kinds of weird and unpredictable stuff. It might help the immediate problem, or it might not; but I guarantee you this - it will definitely prevent other problems in the future. And make sure you run CleanMyMac.
  10. This is nasty. Brian always says you should have one third free hard drive space, and you don't even have one tenth. Barely even one twentieth. You HAVE to clear some space. NOW.
  11. OH!!!!! Don't reinstall Photoshop yet!!!
  12. Ok, it's completely FUBAR. You'll have to reinstall it.
  13. Ok, wow. Something is screwy. If you are in Photoshop, and go to File>Open, can you navigate to the jpeg file you just tried, and open it that way? Also, can you do this for me? https://www.damiensymonds.net/thread1.html
  14. Yes please. Then, when you again try to open a photo from LR to PS, it should come up with a dialog with some options. Does it?
  15. One more question, then I'm completely stumped ... I know that Photoshop, in its Preferences, has a button that says "Reset all warning dialogs". I assume Lightroom has the same button in its preferences. Can you find it?
  16. Whoa. That's weird. Haven't you got the latest version of Photoshop?
  17. Ok, that's interesting. If you go and find a raw file on your hard drive, and double-click it, what happens? In which program does it open?
  18. Ok, now check Lightroom's preferences to make sure they're pointing to the right version of Photoshop, I guess. 30 days, Jenny. Just give me 30 days to change your life. https://www.damiensymonds.net/bridge-30-day-challenge Not only will your life be MUCH simpler, your images will be better as well.
  19. Also, have you checked with photos from a few different sessions? Are none of your photos at all able to open in Photoshop? Or just from one set?
  20. Just to check - you don't have any older version of Photoshop installed on your computer?
  21. Ok, we'll come back to the colour profile problem. Let's fix this problem first. Does it give you an error message when you try to open a photo from LR to PS?
  22. Have you checked over your settings? https://www.damiensymonds.net/color-space-settings-for-the-lightroom-user.html
  23. How are you changing to sRGB, exactly?
