  1. In your version, it's not a blue link any more, but it's still in the same place - below the image in the ACR window.
  2. Include it in all your raw posts in class. We'll discuss it there.
  3. Inkjet is fine, as long as you tell it to only print with black ink (and as long as you check closely with a magnifying glass afterwards to make sure it has done so).
  4. I find this extraordinarily hard to believe. You must know SOMEBODY with a printer.
  5. Sure, let's see it. Also, show me a screenshot of where you can't find the place to type 700px.
  6. No, it's dreadful. Don't get one of those.
  7. No. The Skin Class supersedes that. You don't need to use filters for skin any more.
  8. It doesn't matter. Just follow the Skin Class steps, they'll work for you just fine.
  9. I don't recall it, sorry. Was it a tutorial, or somebody's thread?
  10. May I see the photo?
  11. You are absolutely right. I figure it would be best to do it at night, with a light shining in towards them from outside, giving them the rim light you want.
  12. Ah, give them a chance, I guess. Don't change your editing workflow, of course. Just convert your file to Adobe RGB when you're preparing the print file.
  13. Alas, no, it's too clumsy. Much slicker to keep them as two separate actions, and have them set up as two F keys on your keyboard. Eg F2 to run the BW, then choose the layer/s, then F3 to save the PSD.
  14. Download PSD
  15. Probably a bit of both.
  16. This is the best I can manage. Does it inspire you?
  17. Well, I'd say the first step would be to take your Levels off them. Can you link me to some examples?
  18. Hi Sara, is it stopping you from using Photoshop?
  19. It's all part of the Layers & Masks Class. Module 7.
  20. Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever crop during editing. You're doing the right thing by holding down the Alt key, and ignoring clipping in that area. No, the clipping doesn't matter. But are you sure about cloning? Maybe copying and flipping from the other side might be better.
  21. Yes, it's a calibration issue. Windows Photo is not a colour-managed program. If it matches your prints, that is nothing more than STAGGERINGLY good luck. And of course it's pointless, because you need the program that you edit your photos in to be the one that matches your prints. https://www.damiensymonds.net/what2buy_cal.html
  22. You don't "find" ACR. Nobody knows where it is. But when you double-click a raw file in Bridge, it automatically opens in ACR.
