It doesn't say "px" after the numbers in the Crop Tool options bar. That's why it's not actually cropping to pixel size.

May I see a screenshot with your Crop Tool selected so I can see its settings?

No, the submenu in the layers panel itself. The tiny three lines at the top right corner.

Oh yeah, it just means your layer thumbnail size has been set to "None". It happens to everyone from time to time, and nobody knows why. Just go to the Layers panel submenu and choose "Panel Options". Choose a size for your thumbnails in there.

You'd make a big selection of a good area, like this: You'd hit Ctrl J to put that on its own layer. Then you'd move it down to where it needs to be. Then add a mask and carefully mask it. Oh, you'd probably need to distort it a little bit to make the perspective correct as well.

I can't see anything there. It should be fine.

In the old days, there was only one choice for photographers - Firefox. It was the only one that showed colours accurately. But now all the other browsers have caught up with colour-management, so you can use any browser you like.

This is good focus. Nothing to worry about at all.

Yep, you're doing it exactly right.

They are what they are. Just try to make them all roughly similar brightness, but accept that you can't create detail where none exists.
