  1. Yep, those are good solutions for now. Let me know what happens after calibration.
  2. Can I just check something ... you haven't actually cropped these images to 2000x680 pixels, have you? That would be CATASTROPHIC.
  3. No, I'm not asking for guesswork. I'm just commenting on what I can see. Is it more textured down there than in more trafficked parts of the room?
  4. You could if you like, but with the right use of gradients, it shouldn't be necessary. Download PSD
  5. Has this difficulty been caused by the fact that the carpet down in the corner of the original photo was unusually textured?
  6. May I see a 100% crop, of some good carpet and some "muddy" carpet?
  7. Gosh no! Cloning is not necessary. Just run the gradient right over it.
  8. I reckon you should extend the lighter coloured wall, and ignore the bit of shadowing.
  9. If you're not going to keep the corner of the room, there was no need to distort the photo at all.
  10. Ah yes. Hold on, I'll upload an Elements version ... Elements-friendly PSD file
  11. Whatever you think is the path of least resistance.
  12. I'll need you to either ... Provide a different photo of your own that has the sun in it, like the example photo; or Provide a different example photo with the sun behind you, like your photo.

  14. Hi Sarah, nothing looks out of the ordinary on my screen. Is your screen calibrated?
  15. Have you made your noise pattern? The link to do so is in the article.
