  1. Let me know what she says
  2. It looks good to me. I guess you'll have to run it past the mum and see if she approves, yeah?
  3. Why ACR? It says in your sidebar that you use Lightroom?
  4. Ok, let's try the easy method first. What about if you messed with some pseudo-lens-distortion while correcting the vertical lines?
  5. The actual jpeg of it, ta.
  6. Yes, I've had very good success with these in the past. I'm sure we'll be able to manage it. Wonderful! Can you post your SOOR for me? (Raw edits done, but no Photoshop work)
  7. Hi Nicole, did you shoot raw by any chance?
  8. Please don't be cryptic. Just answer the question. Or, let me ask it another way: If we were to only alter the size of the son, do you think the girl in glasses would look ok, or extra weird, remaining at the size she is now?
  9. I'm trying to figure out what's required. Do you, or do you not, think that the girl with the glasses needs to be smaller also??
  10. Well, I'm curious why the mom is only worried about the boys? Surely she would be more concerned that her daughter is giant compared to her?
  11. Isn't it simply because he's a fair bit closer to the camera?
  12. Oh yeah, shit! Never use Mpix or Mpix Pro, they're awful.
  13. Fabulous! Then ditch the new lab.
  14. That's absolutely fine. it doesn't matter what computer they were edited on. Please compare those prints to your new screen, and tell me how they look.
  15. I forgot to say, these are great. Not dark or green at all. (Well, the backgrounds in the first two are dark because of your heavy vignette, but the people are perfect). There is no reason for these files to print badly.
  16. Do you have any in frames around your house?
  17. Hey Carol, you know I'm a very skilled old photo restorer too, right? There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to post your moldy photo anywhere but here.
  18. Bummer, are you SURE? Can you check again?
  19. What? No, you don't need new prints!!!! Any previous prints will do. Do you have any lying around?
  20. You said this is a new iMac and a new calibrator. Have you compared the old lab's prints to the new screen?
  21. How many print labs have you tried?
  22. Exactly. Are you saying that Native gave you a warmer result than 6500K? No, that's irrelevant.
