  1. Yeah, that doesn't looks entirely promising. Still, let's wait and see how the print comparison goes.
  2. No no no, never a duplicate file. Always one file. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/02/multiple-images-in-one-psd.html
  3. Darn it. Thanks for letting me know. I can't fix it tonight, but in your case it doesn't matter. You said you've calibrated a lot of times, so all you need to do is flick to one of your other profiles, then back to the current one.
  4. No, that's ok, icm and icc work just the same. As far as I've seen, anyway.
  5. No, post in the Raw Class please, in the usual way.
  6. Hi @DGrundmann did you try simply recalibrating? Usually that works.
  7. Hmmm ... maybe it's one of these? https://www.damiensymonds.net/art_enlarge.html https://www.damiensymonds.net/2011/02/printing-big.html https://www.damiensymonds.net/2014/03/how-aggressively-can-i-crop.html
  8. I hope you will begin with Bridge, yes. It's SO important.
  9. Please stop confusing the two classes. Bridge is Bridge, Raw is Raw. They're not the same thing.
  10. Of course you can, and the class still teaches them, but gee, it's time to update. The new sliders are very good now.
  11. No, not easy to fix at all. You might need to copy from one eye to the other?
  12. It's just the reflections, isn't it?
  13. Good! The blue shirt is probably a soft-proofing issue. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/03/bit-about-soft-proofing.html
  14. Thanks. And out of those five, how many of them are you happy with? Comparing screen to print, I mean.
  15. You're right, it doesn't. Please get some prints, pronto. Info about what prints to choose in this article. Please don't do any more editing until you've done so. I fear you can't see how dark your photo is.
  16. Great. Do you mind posting all five files here for me?
  17. Oh, that's great news!!!!!! Now, let's tangent for a moment. I can see from your profile that you have a Mac, and no calibrator, is that correct? At the very least, in the absence of calibration, have you compared your screen to pro lab prints and adjusted its brightness to match them as closely as possible?
  18. Anyone with dark hair will be no trouble at all. But anyone with light hair might be an issue. May I see those?
  19. That's ok! You said you have eleven to do. Is it one photo each of eleven different people?
