First, add a Channel Mixer adjustment layer. Go to "Output Channel: Blue" and change the numbers from 0, 0, +100, 0 to 0, +100, 0, -7. (Make sure you get the order exactly right). Then mask to the area inside the glasses. Then add a new blank layer above that. Choose your Clone Tool and make sure it's set to "Sample: Current & Below" in the Options Bar. Carefully clone over the remaining problem areas.

Possible, yes. But not easy. Her arm in her hair will be the trickiest part. Go ahead and do your raw processing first, then we'll discuss.
-
This one is harder because of the big rocks in the background. Do you have any other photos from this same set, that would provide the missing background detail?
-
This one will be dead easy. After doing your raw processing, the first step in Photoshop is the straightening. Then use this method to remove the other girl.

Strange Blue Overlay?
Damien Symonds replied to Tnjoann's topic in Photoshop / Elements / Bridge / ACR questions or problems
That all sounds fine. I mean, 12GB of RAM is a bit on the low end in these modern times, but it should still run ok as long as you don't keep too many programs open at once; and don't open too many photos at once. -
Ok. Let me know what they say.

@pattyfhorne can you tell me which X-Rite you have?

crop vs image size vs fit

Yeah, no need to duplicate the file either. Image Processor always saves into a new folder, it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to save over your files. -
crop vs image size vs fit
Damien Symonds replied to Yvonn.ie's topic in Questions about tutorials and articles
Of course not. If you crop to specific dimensions, that trumps everything. Nothing else is required. Image size or Fit image are only needed if you haven't cropped at all, or if you've cropped without imposing any dimensions. Of course you must not do that. The whole point of image processor is to do the saving for you. -
It's not quite good enough, sorry

Calibration
Damien Symonds replied to Karlie Kingi's topic in Monitor calibration questions or problems
No no no. Do you think your lab will change the way they print just because one of their thousands of customers suddenly calibrated? Of course not. Prints are prints. You don't need to get new ones afterwards. The purpose of calibration is to make your screen match the prints you already have. Not just the good ones either. ALL your prints. -
Calibration
Damien Symonds replied to Karlie Kingi's topic in Monitor calibration questions or problems
Hooray! But NOOOOOOOOO! You can't calibrate unless you have prints with you! You can't wait until after calibration to get prints. Do you have any prints? -

@Karlie Kingi have you got a new calibrator yet? -
Thank you. So can you take a look at this thread? Do you agree that it really truly looks like flash? The exif must be lying, surely?
-
Hi Kim, when I'm looking at the Flash data in exif in Bridge, some say "Did not fire", while others say "Did not fire, compulsory mode". This seems to be across various cameras. What does "compulsory mode" mean in terms of flash?
