  1. Wonderful! Ok, go ahead and calibrate. https://www.damiensymonds.net/calibration-instructions/
  2. I strongly suggest doing this: https://www.dummies.com/computers/operating-systems/windows-10/how-to-change-the-location-of-user-folders-in-windows-10/
  3. Yes, the C drive must strictly only be for your Windows. EVERYTHING else must go on your D drive. And Brian will have a fit if he sees you say that you keep everything on your desktop. Never do that, it's bad for your computer's performance (although worse for Macs than PCs).
  4. It could be argued that it's even more important for your screen to match bad prints, so that in the future you can see that they'll be bad before you print them!
  5. No, the prints you have are perfectly fine. They don't need to be wonderful prints. Your screen just needs to match them exactly, that's all.
  6. Talk to me, @Viviana. In what way does your screen differ from your prints?
  7. I don't have a "quick trick" here I'm afraid. It'll just have to be careful patient dodge and burn.
  8. If there is going to be clipping in the conversion, then yes.
  9. Ah ... yes and no. This will help you: https://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tscs2.html
  10. I don't think you've got anything to worry about. This will print beautifully on canvas.
  11. Hold on, don't bother recalibrating yet. You can't calibrate until you have some pro lab prints. Go ahead and order those right away. Some info about choosing prints here.
  12. First things first, have you done this? https://www.damiensymonds.net/premiercolor
  13. Talk to me, @Mike Comber. In what way does your screen differ from your prints?
  14. May I see their features up close? https://www.damiensymonds.net/2013/09/grabbing-700x700px-100-crop.html
  15. Ok, let's fix the last part first. https://ask.damiensymonds.net/topic/22347-glary01/
  16. I think your edit is amazingly good. There's no way I'll be able to do better. What's concerning you about it, exactly?
  17. Was the third photo (the sky) meant to be a jpeg?
  18. What did you decide to do about the light? Have you got stronger bulbs?
  19. You can't join it yet!!! Not until you're calibrated properly.
  20. Could you send me the raw files so I can take a look? https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/BellePhotography
