  1. No, I don't either! It's very unusual. I reckon maybe the print lab did some of their own "auto corrections" on those prints?
  2. Don't keep me in suspense! How did the recalibration go? Does the screen match your prints now?
  3. While the screen doesn't match your prints, the calibration isn't finished. You need to calibrate again, and again, and again, until you have a match.
  4. Well, that's what we'll decide after the laptop one is finished. Let me know how it goes.
  5. Gee, 90 is usually fine. Ok, better calibrate again at a higher number, eh?
  6. Wow, that's uncommon. What luminance target did you calibrate to?
  7. You must be reading the wrong instructions. There are no white point readings for a laptop. Remember, the laptop instructions are here.
  8. Can we concentrate on the laptop first? Can you go ahead and calibrate that one?
  9. Duplication will definitely be the problem. It must be 'Extend'.
  10. Also, can you confirm that you have all the settings correct per this article?
  11. Gosh! That's rather strange, isn't it? Can you remind me - did you successfully calibrate your laptop screen?
  12. How was it, @Siobhan Wolff?
  13. So far so good! Staying at home as much as we can. We're very lucky that we can both still work.
  14. Oh, that's tough. You'd probably err towards the 5000.
  15. How's the quality when you examine it up close?
  16. I don't think you quite got all my numbers. This is redder than mine. But if you like it redder, that's great! Go with it.
  17. After you make the adjustment, make sure you examine the quality up close. Playing around with very dark tones in a photo can leave us very vulnerable to graininess.
  18. Try this Levels layer: Red 0/2.50/255 and 5/225 Green 0/1.60/255 and 0/250 Blue 0/1.00/245 and 0/255 And show me how it turns out.
  19. This is about as tan as we can mange. Will it satisfy your customer?
  20. Please promise you will never EVER crop during editing again?
  21. Is that the whole photo now? No more little surprises for me?
