  1. How far through the class are you, @SelenaHema?
  2. Selena, you MUST stop editing in Photoshop until you know how to do raw editing properly. PLEASE concentrate on the Raw Class, and post some photos there for me.
  3. It's like you haven't read the Sharpening Class AT ALL. And I know you have. THE PURPOSE OF CROPPING IS TO CROP.
  4. Also, I'd strongly suggest checking the "Use Classic Mode" box.
  5. You MUST check the "Delete Cropped Pixels" box in the options bar.
  6. So good to see you back on the site, @Scott_Madrigal. I hope you'll start flooding me with photos soon.
  7. I clipped a Hue/Saturation layer to the placed layer, and lowered the Lightness slider.
  8. If the screen is in focus in any of the photos, that will be a different matter.
  9. No, I assure you, as long as you blur the screen and darken it enough to match, the masking won't be difficult AT ALL. This is the easiest method, I promise. Any attempt to actually clean the screen will require tedious cloning, and you don't have time for that.
  10. I wouldn't even try, @meris. Just replace it altogether. This is a screenshot of my email screen that I've put in there. If you like this idea, I can show you the PSD file so you can see how I did it.
  11. Yes, I'm very pleased to say I think it will work fine.
  12. Of course. https://www.damiensymonds.net/trainingsharp-signup.html
  13. Mate, no concerns here. This looks excellent.
  14. Oh, wonderful! That puts my mind at ease a great deal, thank you.
  15. Well, you're going to have to learn the basics in a mighty hurry, because if you're not using Photoshop, all this worry about calibration is entirely pointless.
  16. Ok, let's take this one step at a time. Have you opened the photo in Photoshop and done this check yet?
  17. The file you just posted is untagged. This is a problem, not just now but always. Never save photos without their profiles. Make sure the profile box is checked when saving. It will look something like these: Can you save and post it again for me, along with some others?
  18. What I fear most is the worst-case scenario that you do this check and find out that your files aren't sRGB after all. That would throw an element of doubt over your prints. They might be ok, or they might not.
  19. Ok, that'll do for now. Yes, that will also be sufficient for now. I hope you'll get some black-and-white photos at some stage in the future, though. Do you mind posting the photos you have, to show me?
