  1. That looks jagged too. How did you prepare these files at that size? Did you use the Crop Tool? What about the Image Size function?
  2. No. And don't go searching, because you're as likely to find viruses as anything else. Software for a job is an investment. Office isn't all that expensive. You wouldn't like if it people shared your writings without paying you for them; it's only fair to give Microsoft the same courtesy. However, if you REALLY won't buy it, Open Office is a well-regarded free alternative.
  3. The same here. May I see it without the sharpening?
  4. Again, these ones feel a bit jagged. How did they look before the sharpening?
  5. The text looks a bit jagged to me. May I see it without the sharpening?
  6. We'll need to discuss the raw processing in the Raw Class, thanks.
  7. I've moved this into the Focus Checks section, since that's what it is, in effect. Per the posting guidelines, may I see the whole photo, plus the shot details?
  8. Wonderful! Then there is absolutely no reason to think anything is wrong. Go ahead and get those pro lab test prints, pronto. I assure you, lots of people freak out when they see their screen correct for the first time, after seeing it wrong for a long time before.
  9. It's a laptop screen, is that right? Which Spyder do you have? Were you following my instructions here?
  10. Yeah, I don't see why not. You'd do this if necessary.
  11. Oh, don't worry about that. The uploaders are never colour-managed.
  12. Let me know how you go with it.
  13. I borrowed the dress from her shoulder. Download the PSD
  14. Could this work?
  15. Hi Dani, thanks for posting. This looks like a very difficult one, and I must admit a solution doesn't occur to me straight away. While I'm sitting cross-legged and meditating about this one, you have a MUCH worse problem that I need you to deal with. Please follow this troubleshooter all the way to the end, to fix your colour space problem. Also, this.
  16. Lol, yeah, I thought that too! Yes, of course that layer could stay on if desired.
  17. Ok, let me know how you go. Take your time, that took me about fifteen minutes, and I'm fairly fast at the HM.
  18. This is with the Handman method. Is it any better than your efforts?
  19. Is the chin the problem, or more the neck?
  20. Great. Glad we got that sorted out. Ok, go ahead and post your photo in the Raw Class posting area.
  21. I've cleared the site cache. Now refresh the page and see if it's made any difference at your end.
  22. Gosh, that's weird. Other people have been replying to threads just fine. And I'm able to do so, of course. Could you show me a screenshot of the reply area of the thread, so I can see what you're seeing?
