From Bridge, there are two ways to open a raw file - one is Cmd O (for "Open") and the other is Cmd R (for "Raw").
Can you try both, and see if one works?

Have you got detailed specifications from the print company you'll be using? About their file requirements?
Do you happen to still have the first jpeg you sent to the lab, as well as the second one? I'd like to see both if possible.

At the top of the page, in the blue bar, do you see where it says "Search Damien's resources"? Click on that, then put "chromatic" in the search field.
