  1. So can you elaborate on the question for me? Are you saying that the dresses in these two prints look exactly the same colour?
  2. Ok. Then you'd better post the photos for me.
  3. That's the WORST, isn't it? Are they all from exactly the same print batch? That's likely to be a soft-proofing issue, not a calibration one. I'd ignore that print at this stage.
  4. Right. So are you on this page right now?
  5. Can you remind me which calibrator you have?
  6. Yeah, I don't see why your file shouldn't print fine.
  7. Gosh, that makes this so hard to diagnose, doesn't it? I suppose you won't have a chance to see it in person?
  8. Have you see the canvas yourself? Or has she just told you about it and sent you this photo?
  9. Gee, it should print fine. Describe "terrible". What was wrong with it, exactly?
  10. Gosh, I've never heard anyone suggest that before. I don't use Instagram myself, so I don't know, sorry.
  11. If they've been sharpened already (which seems likely) you'll need to modify your sharpening.
  12. May I see the file quality up close? https://www.damiensymonds.net/2013/09/grabbing-700x700px-100-crop.html
  13. @acomb9709?
  14. I have calibrated an M1 with my X-Rite. And the new Spyders (the SpyderX range) will do it fine too. https://www.damiensymonds.net/which-monitor-calibrator-to-buy/
  15. Gosh @gelz, is everything ok?
  16. How did this go, @acomb9709?
  17. Great. Then let's hurry up and get you into the Levels Class so we can discuss the levels work on this.
  18. On the left is the raw edit we just completed in the Raw Class. On the right is my new Photoshop edit. I want to know if you like it.
  19. No, I want to know whether you like this version:
  20. Wait, what? What do you hate about it?
  21. Are you still there, @shalea?
  22. Can you tell me how you feel about this?
  23. Now that we have a proper raw edit with all the channels intact, it's time to talk about how to edit it without causing clipping again. Needless to say, this is very tricky. Clipping happens very easily with these colours.
