  1. 100% crop of the area please.
  2. No, that's correct. It's always been that way. NEVER save files from Camera Raw. Ever.
  3. I've had great experiences with Dell and LG. I would lean towards them over the Asus, but that's just me.
  4. Please show me, @Aubrey.
  5. Cool, thanks so much.
  6. Yes, it has a USB-C port, so we're sweet there.
  7. Oh, good advice. Yes, I think she'd been looking at one with its own power; and that seems like a very good thing, since her work-issued laptop is a weakling and really labours under the strain of all the things she has plugged into it. I'll have to check on that. She does have three screens, and I make the same joke! Of the two external screens, one is DVI and one is HDMI.
  8. Where's the layer?
  9. Then show me. Show me a screenshot of your layers panel.
  10. PLEASE read my instructions and follow them correctly.
  11. May I see?
  12. Hi Brian, I'm asking this on Lara's behalf ... she's looking at getting a docking station, because she's got so many screens and other things connected to her laptop. Do you have any general advice about what to look for in a station? Her laptop is a Dell, should she only be looking at Dell stations?
  13. PLEASE come back to the Raw Class, @Kiwiellis!
  14. Just duplicate the Background layer. Change that new layer's blend mode to "Color". Then apply enough gaussian blur to get rid of the colour stripes. Then mask.
  15. I can't see lines in your 100% crop?
  16. As with all moire, I need to see it at 100% please. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2013/09/grabbing-700x700px-100-crop.html
  17. Yeah, don't worry, all of the modern devices will work with everything. https://www.damiensymonds.net/which-monitor-calibrator-to-buy/
  18. Its specs look good, yes. But no matter what screen you have, you need a calibrator. So if your immediate budget can only fit a screen OR a calibrator, it must be the calibrator first.
  19. Have you done this? https://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tscs000.html

  22. Phew! Yes, because the light in your room is completely terrible, as we've already established.
  23. Gee I hope you're wrong
