  1. Gosh, I've never heard anyone suggest that before. I don't use Instagram myself, so I don't know, sorry.
  2. If they've been sharpened already (which seems likely) you'll need to modify your sharpening.
  3. May I see the file quality up close? https://www.damiensymonds.net/2013/09/grabbing-700x700px-100-crop.html
  4. I have calibrated an M1 with my X-Rite. And the new Spyders (the SpyderX range) will do it fine too. https://www.damiensymonds.net/which-monitor-calibrator-to-buy/
  5. Great. Then let's hurry up and get you into the Levels Class so we can discuss the levels work on this.
  6. On the left is the raw edit we just completed in the Raw Class. On the right is my new Photoshop edit. I want to know if you like it.
  7. No, I want to know whether you like this version:
  8. Wait, what? What do you hate about it?
  9. Can you tell me how you feel about this?
  10. Now that we have a proper raw edit with all the channels intact, it's time to talk about how to edit it without causing clipping again. Needless to say, this is very tricky. Clipping happens very easily with these colours.
  11. I'm not saying it'll be WAY more pixely. I'm saying that you should try to physically see the monitors you're considering. I know it's convenient to buy online, but I don't think it's smart in this case.
  12. Just to clarify, for what reason are you looking for a bigger screen? Just for more space? Be aware that these screens have the same number of pixels (1920x1080) as the screen you already have, and because they are physically bigger screens than yours, each pixel will be bigger too, so these screens might make images look more pixely than yours? Just something to think about.
  13. Screenshots aren't colour-accurate, so of course I need you to post the actual photo for me.
  14. Why didn't you post the raw edit in the Raw Class? PLEASE do.
  15. I still don't understand the question, sorry. Surely just do whatever you did to the second photo, but mask it to the eyes only?
  16. Is there a question in here somewhere?
  17. That should be sufficiently in the ballpark, yes? From there, your normal skin work will take care of the rest?
  18. Maybe a Channel Mixer layer, go to Green, and change it to 0, 0, +95, +10?
  19. First, please read this and acknowledge understanding.
