  1. Hmmm .... maybe it would be better to actually set up a table with a dark tablecloth on it, take a photo, then try to put the dog on it?
  2. Sorry, I don't have a technique for that You'll just have to do your best with Photoshop's stupid "Select and Mask" feature.
  3. No, hang on. You posted to ask me about my "replace background" tutorial, but now it seems like you're saying you won't be replacing the background at all?
  4. Ta. And what background are you putting in there instead?
  5. I'm good, but I'm not psychic. I'll need to see the photo.
  6. You'll find a few different ones if you type "gradient" in the search bar. https://www.damiensymonds.net/tutorials.html
  7. I just don't understand this. How can pixels not be square?
  8. Gosh, have you read all the reviews about the stand? https://www.lg.com/au/it-monitors/lg-32ML600M-B
  9. If it's not quite right yet, you can try method 2: https://www.damiensymonds.net/cal_i1DP_pc2.html
  10. Great. So I'm wondering why you think there is a problem? This photo looks amazingly good to me. The Exposure is almost perfect, the white balance is almost perfect. It's going to turn out great!
  11. No, didn't you say your screen is much colder than your prints? You need to calibrate to a lower number.
  12. Look, this is very bad. Do you have another screen in the house you could try instead?
  13. Holy moley!!! Your screen's WARMEST setting is 7837??????
  14. Well, let me ask you a different question. When you took readings of all your screen's presets, which one was the warmest; and did you then use that one?
  15. Ok, so what temperature did you achieve in your last calibration?
  16. These look fine. Not too warm at all. Just to check, you're following my instructions here? https://www.damiensymonds.net/calibration-instructions/
  17. No, sorry, I literally meant can you upload a couple of the print files that you sent to the lab.
