  1. Yes, this all sounds very normal. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/06/faq-help-my-raw-files-wont-open.html
  2. No, don't pick an aspect ratio at all, that's the point! Just crop your photos completely freeform - no shape or size imposed at all. Just crop however you like. Then, after cropping, go to File>Automate>Fit Image, and enter 2500 in both the fields (and click the "Don't enlarge" box to be safe) and press OK. Then sharpen for web, and save.
  3. Great! Then I don't think you should limit yourself to 4:5 shape if you don't have to. Crop each photo exactly how it shows its merits best.
  4. So what I need to understand is the purpose of this squarespace site. Is it a portfolio of all your best photos, to promote your work? Or is it a site where you provide proofs to your clients from their session, so they can place an order?
  5. Well ... I don't know. Do you? From what your describe, it sounds like it might work regardless of consistent or inconsistent shape.
  6. Ok, let's take this a step at a time. First ... ... why?
  7. Come on Krista, have you actually tried doing it exactly as my instructions tell you?
  8. Wow, this looks great.
  9. The colour moire is so slight that all you need to do is add a Solid Color layer of shirt colour, set it to "Color" blend mode, and paint over the shirt.
  10. Well, blurring if you have to, I guess. It's never desirable.
  11. Right
  12. Yeah, I'm sorry about those. I don't have a "trick" for them, sorry. It'll just have to be a D&B layer.

  14. Whoa. Post this one in class please.
  15. Channel Mixer layer: R 0, +100, 0, +5 G 0, +100, 0, 0 B 0, +100, 0, +3
  16. Channel Mixer layer: Red 0, +100, 0, +3 Green 0, +100, 0, 0 Blue 0, +100, 0, +4 It won't be quite perfect, but should be good enough.
  17. The only way I know is to put an Image>Duplicate step at the beginning of the action. It's Part 4 Step 1 in this article. Also, Part 6.
  18. As an owner of an Extreme, you should be entitled to use their software for free. At least, that's how it used to work.
  19. Just in case you missed this question.
