  1. Oh gee, now I'm nervous. Didn't you get my email about it, around the 8th or 9th of April?
  2. How long since you've read through the Layers & Masks Class?
  3. I don't know what rubbish tutorial you're looking at. There should NOT be two helmet layers.
  4. Ok, try the troubleshooting section near the bottom of the Spyder 5 Pro instructions page.
  5. From what I'm reading, this is a very common problem, with no reliable solution. Did you see this page? Also, do you have any older versions of Elements still installed on your computer? I can't help giving you a big fat "I told you so". Organizer has always been a terrible feature, and NOBODY should use it. If you're ready to make the change, watch this then this.
  6. Shows fine for me. I forgot to ask - does Windows show you the thumbnail?
  7. No, they're not. Your prints are what they are. Your screen is too bright and too contrasty. Were you following my instructions here?
  8. Could you send me one of the files, to see if I can see a thumbnail of it?
  9. I have to go, I'm so sorry. I have to take my son to a birthday party. How many sets of images have this problem?
  10. Oh gee, you mustn't do that! https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/02/trash-those-jpegs.html I don't suppose you still have the files on the card?
  11. This is starting to point to something about the import process. How did you get the photos from camera to computer; and did you change your method in any way, recently?
  12. A jpeg that you saved after editing? Or did you shoot Raw+Jpeg in camera?
  13. And is it only the raw files? Once you edit and save as a PSD, you can see the thumbnail of that ok?
  14. Hi Jo, can you still see thumbnails of older images? Is it just the newest photos that won't generate? Or can you not see any thumbnails at all?
  15. To keep your mind at ease, you can download the little "DisplayProfile" app that I referenced in this article. Once both screens are calibrated, you can drag that app from screen to screen, and each time you do so, you'll see it change to reflect the profile being used for that screen.
  16. Don't worry, it won't Just calibrate the second screen the same way you always did. Your graphics card will know the difference.
  17. Firstly, you should know that resizing is the most important part of printing. If your lab needs 300ppi, you provide 300ppi. End of story. Secondly, you're NOT increasing it!!!!!!!! The resolution of the photo (at its full size) is WAAAAAAAAY higher than 300ppi when the size is 17mm wide. Try it and see! In the Image Size dialog, temporarily turn off the "Resample image" checkbox, then change the width to 17mm. You'll see the resolution shoot up to the thousands, probably.
  18. WHAT????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Come on, you're in the Print Sharpening Class. I can't believe you'd even ask that question.
  19. No, the colour of the blanket is wildly varied, immediately below the child.
