  1. Um, no, we need all the noise removal we can get. Put that Luminance slider back up. WAY up.
  2. Well, I'm not sure, exactly. I suspect your noise "Detail" and "Contrast" sliders (which you have both presently set at 84) are too high as well. But until I see it without the awful sharpening, I can't really tell.
  3. Oh yeah, gosh, can't you see how much damage the Sharpening is doing?? That slider MUST be at 0. Do that, then show me the 100% crop again.
  4. Gosh, that's dreadful. Something's gone badly wrong here. May I see a screenshot of your Detail panel in raw?
  5. No, not the Crop Tool. Read the instructions again, please.
  6. That 100% crop is WAY too large of a portion of the whole photo. What are the pixel dimensions of the whole photo?

  8. Please read this again and again and again and again and again until it STICKS.
  9. No, that's cropped. The SOOR please.
  10. Download the PSD First I duplicated the forehead and moved it up. Actually, I duplicated it twice, but duplicating once then stretching it a bit would have worked too. I masked that onto the appropriate area. Then the next two layers are from the Handyman Method, to make the light and colour correct. Then a final layer for a bit more cloning, to take care of the last wisps.
  11. No, it's not going to work. Anyone can see the light is striking it from the wrong side.
  12. Is this what you mean?
  13. Oh! Crap!!!!!!! Do this right away. This is VERY bad.
  14. Make sure you do the raw processing on your photo before beginning any Photoshop work, of course.
  15. For the red pants, a Hue/Saturation layer, choose Reds, and lower the Lightness slider all the way to -100. For the rest, I don't have any tricks, sorry. Just painstaking cloning.
  16. May I see a crop that shows the full width of his head?
  17. Of course you can ask questions about the class content in both tiers of the class. But you can only post your photos for my help in the Deluxe one.
  18. Yes, it's quite fixable, I think. But it's all Levels Class stuff, sorry. I can't help you until you're in that class.
  19. What colour would you like? It would need to be another light colour. This would be ideal if we could pull it off, but we'd have to be EXTRAORDINARY lucky to find another photo at exactly the correct angle, lighting, depth of field, size, etc.
  20. I'm so sorry for your loss Removing it would be impossible. We could change the colour, but it would, I fear, still look like a silly hat.
  21. No, I don't have instructions for the Colormunki Smile. From my "What to buy" page:
