  1. Does it give you an error message?
  2. For the last point ... It would also be possible to add a Solid Color layer of desirable petal colour, set it to "Color" blend mode, and mask it on to the central area.
  3. Because the red of the flower is quite strong, it should be possible to add an overall Hue/Saturation layer, go to Reds, and move the Hue slider left or right respectively. Then mask out some stuff in the background which you don't want changed. No, you'd just use Levels for that. I would use a cooling filter for that. A tiny bit of yellow Photo Filter I think.
  4. I'm so sorry mate, I've played and played, and I can't find anything faster than the Handyman method: https://www.damiensymonds.net/2015/04/the-handyman-method.html
  5. Hi Peter, which version of Photoshop do you have?
  6. No, sorry. It's a question that can only be answered on a case-by-case basis. There are dozens of colour-change methods, and the reason there are dozens is that they are all needed in different situations.
  7. Hi Mariia, was there supposed to be a photo with this post?

  9. Heck yeah, the CG line are awesome. Will you get to see it working?
  10. The 2722 is definitely worth the extra 40 quid, because it's 10-bit. That's really good for smoothness.
  11. Hi @Michael1 would you mind giving me links to the specs of each screen?
  12. Are your external hard drives proper USB-C ones, or are they running through USB-A adapters too?
  13. Possibly for the same reason? I really don't know, sorry.
  14. What? No, cancel that nonsense, and just copy them directly to your internal hard drive where they're supposed to be. If that still takes three hours, then you know the reader is the problem. But if it's faster, then you know the external hard drive is the problem.
  15. Yep, it's definitely something to do with the connections, either the card, or the externals, or both. I'm going to move this thread to Brian's area, because it's out of my league.
  16. Raw processing questions go in the Raw Class please.
  17. Plain lustre is fine. No texture, and definitely nothing glossy.
  18. As far as I know it's these: https://ask.damiensymonds.net/topic/36351-i1studio-pc01/
  19. Although it's not quite perfect, it's easily good enough to use.
  20. The Patch Tool should take care of the ones on his face. I don't have any solution for the other ones, sorry.

  22. Okay, well, there's no technical difficulty to this job, it will just take AGES. Convert the Background layer to a Smart Object. Rotate to straighten: https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/01/straightening-horizons.html Add a Solid Color layer of orange then drag it below the image layer. (It doesn't have to be orange, but I think that will provide the most contrast in this case.) Add a mask to the image layer, then zoom in and start painstakingly masking around the structure. Use your Shift key: https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/10/shift-while-brushing.html Once the entire background is orange, turn off the orange layer so that the entire background is transparent. Save as a PSD (not PNG) ready to use in your design.
  23. My first question is, will it matter that it's cut off at the right-hand side?
  24. No, but if Bridge has forgotten how to read your monitor profile somehow, a new monitor profile might help. So yeah, go ahead and recal first.
