  2. We never did find out how Dom went with this.
  3. Did you happen to see any of these three? this one this one or this one?
  4. Still WAY too soft. I strongly urge you to fill the mask with black, then start the painting again.
  5. And can you also do the Alt-click thing and show me the black-and-white mask screenshot?
  6. Duh. Because your soft-proofing in LR is set to Adobe RGB.

  8. Yeah, that mask along the roof line is MUCH too soft. You need to use a MUCH smaller brush.
  9. Can you Alt-click on the mask of the sky layer, to show the mask in black and white, then take a screenshot to show me?
  10. Are you using this?
  11. Yep, that's excellent. Really perfect. So there's no mystery here. You simply need to mask your sky layer a LOT more accurately along the roof line.
  12. Yeah, no, that's useless. You HAVE to get the print.
  13. No, that's not what Christina asked. We need to know the pixel dimensions.
  14. No, that's the opposite of what I asked for
  15. Copied and flipped the other eye, and rotated it into place. Then masked it. Then added a dodge and burn layer to make the shadowing look (hopefully) realistic.
  16. Ok, that's excellent. Can you, for a moment, turn off the new sky layer, and show me how the photo looks with only that Levels layer turned on?
  17. No yelling here. Is the Levels layer for making the old sky white?
  18. May I see a screenshot showing your layers panel?
  19. How big is the brush you're cloning with? It should be at least as big as two baby toes.
  20. Ok, then definitely re-read the Layers & Masks Class. I recently added a whole new module about this.
  21. Have you read these? I beg you to consider my Layers & Masks Class. It's very cheap, and very comprehensive, and will teach you everything you need to know about this.
  22. Oh gosh, don't try to clone precisely!!!!!! Use a big brush. http://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/10/role-of-masks-when-cloning.html
