  1. Somewhere in this long thread we discussed multi-page PDFs, I think.
  2. You'll need to speak to the printer about that. There's a "Smallest File Size" setting, which should be a good starting point.
  3. Printing refers to the actual printing industry, as far as I'm aware. Graphic designers et al. It definitely should be magically accurate.
  4. Yes, you should definitely try those presets. But I still want to hear about calibrating another screen.
  5. What was your intention here? How did you think you were going to hide the parts? You haven't positioned fabric or anything. I'm confused.
  6. Ok, I think this is just ok to show, if you're sure you have nothing better. It's not perfect, by any means, but would sharpen up ok.
  7. Thanks. Are there any other parts of the photo that are more in focus? The socks, or the teddy bear, or anything like that?
  8. Hi Vivm, this link is provided in the "Read This First & FAQs" post. Did you happen to see it?
  9. Oh gee, the fabric is going to make this hard. May I see a closer crop of her tummy area?
  10. May I see the boy's eyes also, just to be safe?
  11. Hint: Look at the profile details in the sidebar Have you had canvases printed by this lab before?
  12. I'm so sorry, this is outside my experience. I'm going to move this to the GenDisc area, in the hope that somebody else will have some wisdom.
  13. It's very weird, because your Quick Mask button is presses, but the title bar doesn't say you're in QM mode. That must have something to do with it, though.
  14. The other thing we need to test is if you can Alt-click on the mask of another layer (one that's already been painted on) to see if it show the black-and-white view that it's supposed to.
  15. May I see the whole screenshot, so I can see the little border around the mask thumbnail? Not saying I don't trust you ... um, actually, yes, that is what I'm saying ...
  16. Yeah, you simply don't have the mask selected. Click on it. (The white box in the layers panel, I mean)
  17. I don't understand what you don't understand? Did you read my article?
  18. It's certainly not perfect, but it should prevent people from looking too closely at that area, and I figure that's all that's important.
  19. Try this ... a Channel Mixer adjustment layer, with these values: Red 0, +95, 0 Green 0, +110, 0 Blue 0, +45, 0 Then invert the mask to hide the adjustment, then paint on gently with a low-opacity white brush.
  20. Using a gradient layer to add some fake beams of light. Download the file here.
