  1. Oh no! Big problem. Please fix it.
  2. How did you fare?

  4. I selected a big chunk of the bottom half of the photo, and duplicated it onto its own layer. Then I reduced the opacity and moved it down by one button distance, if you know what I mean. I made sure a button lined up. Then I masked that layer in as best I could. Then I added a cloning layer for all the little areas that weren't perfect. Download the PSD file
  5. Let's try this first. Also, do this for me.
  6. You're welcome.
  7. "Big problem" is a link.
  8. Oh dear. Big problem.
  9. Great! Glad to help.
  10. How did you go?
  11. How about this?
  12. Yeah, it does look like she's wearing her dad's shirt, doesn't it?
  13. You only give jpeg files to clients, and jpeg files don't have such platform-specific limitations.
  14. It should be sufficient to add a Channel Mixer layer: Red 0, +90, 0 Green 0, +100, 0 Blue 0, +115, 0 And mask on to the shirt. Let me know if it's not satisfactory.
  15. Ok, great. So in that case, I need you to process the raw file so that there is no red channel clipping in the shirt. Then post the photo again for me.
  16. This is the best answer I can give generally: http://www.damiensymonds.net/2012/01/painting-on-some-skin.html
  17. Yeah, I'd say you're limited by your calibrator at this stage.
  18. If I know I'll be using the Patch Tool, I'll do it on a duplicate layer, because it doesn't work on a blank layer (at least, not in my version). If it's only going to be a small area of cloning, I'll usually do it on a blank layer. There's no rule about it. Whatever you feel comfortable with. Obviously duplicating the layer makes your file much bigger. A couple of things to read, here and here, if relevant.
  19. Well, your yellow curtains certainly sound worrying. Maybe at first just open them, and compare your prints in the daylight?
  20. Ok, I think I can do this, but I need to know - would you be devastated if you lost the little white flowers on her chest?
  21. Yes, a closer crop would be great, thanks. Doesn't necessarily need to be 100%, just as close as you can while still getting the whole area in.
  22. Oh, this is tough. Do you mind sending me the raw file?
  23. Don't think for a second that this is your fault. Drool fixes are very specific, what works for one photo almost certainly won't work for another photo. So I'm glad you posted yours. Let me have a little look ...
