  1. Hi @mporta, this is the best I can manage: https://max.mailbigfile.com/027cf4d0ad5206dc9df54b6471f3d7b6/listFiles.php I hope it's ok.
  2. This is fairly common, and I promise, it doesn't matter a bit. You can safely leave it off.
  3. Anything and everything. I don't mind at all.
  4. What??? I showed you how I did it! Look at my layers in the file!
  5. How bizarre. Have you tried this? https://www.damiensymonds.net/2013/10/how-to-properly-re-install-spyder.html
  6. And that's the same laptop you used to have your old screen attached to? What make/model was your old screen?
  7. Are you running it off a laptop?
  8. Hi @Brittany Elle S., maybe this? https://max.mailbigfile.com/abfea001c260221e0dbdb62005122b76/listFiles.php
  9. Dark room for calibration is useful, but IMMEDIATELY after the calibration is finished you must turn the lights back up to full brightness (or open the blinds, or whatever) so that you can compare the screen to prints in proper bright lighting.
  10. Calibrating your screen at night time is fine, as long as the artificial light in your room is as bright as daylight. There should be no (well, negligible) difference in the light around your computer 24/7. Yeah, see how it goes.
  11. I'm always so regretful to say this, but there might be a problem with the calibrator. Is there another computer in the house that you can try calibrating, to see if it also gives you a weirdly low brightness result?
  12. Wow. 20 is only about a quarter of the brightness of how a screen should normally be. Is that how it looks and feels to you as well?
  13. Ok. So when you're at this stage ... ... you're having to take "Current" down to 20.1 to get a print match?
  14. Thanks. And still a Mac desktop computer?
  15. @Gabby Jeffcoat, can you remind me which calibrator you have?
  16. Blimey, this is really really awful. Are you SURE your screen matches your prints?
  17. Yes please.
  18. Then why does this look so terrible? May I see the whole photo?
  19. Glad we caught it. Now could you do this? https://www.damiensymonds.net/thread2.html
  20. How did they all go, @jeanbrunsonphotography?
  21. I'm old-school. My off-site backup is literally disks kept at my friend's house (and I keep his disks at my house). Some more info in the second half of this article: https://www.damiensymonds.net/how-do-i-retrieve-lost-or-damaged-images/
  22. Oh crap Tara!!!! https://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tscs000.html
  23. PLEASE don't wait any longer.
  24. I'm so sorry, I can't discuss class matters outside of class.
  25. Hi Cindy, are you asking why the light isn't the same in each shot, despite having the same camera settings?
