  1. I have given you all the empowerment you need to ditch Lightroom. I don't know how else I can help
  2. Don't do ANY editing until you've finished the Bridge Class and uninstalled Lightroom.
  3. In what program are you editing your raw files?
  4. No, this is still wrong. Adobe RGB is not as terrible as ProPhoto RGB, but still very bad. https://www.damiensymonds.net/art_tscs000.html
  5. https://www.damiensymonds.net/calibration-instructions/
  6. On a Mac I'm not sure, sorry. I only know about PC. But yeah, I guess you need to try completely uninstalling the software then starting again.
  7. That's a significant problem. It definitely means your calibration is wrong.
  8. Then it's time to try a new lab. (The exact same photos)
  9. Just on the website in the usual way. https://www.damiensymonds.net/index.html
  10. Well, just rearrange your panels like I taught you in the Layers & Masks Class.
  11. The most common reason for this inconsistency is the lab. Did you mistakenly allow the lab to make adjustments to your files when you sent them for print?
  12. You don't have to save it straight away. But it doesn't hurt. Save (by hitting Ctrl S) frequently as you're editing, so you keep your PSD file up-to-date (in case you have a computer crash or a power outage). But don't save multiple PSD files of course. Only the one master PSD file.
  13. I urge you to re-read the very last module of the Bridge Class. This is spelled out very clearly.
  14. This is why you must NEVER CROP YOUR MASTER FILE. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2011/09/cropping-tutorial.html
  15. Maybe you need to do an entire reset on the screen?
  16. This sounds quite normal. See if your lab provides a soft-proofing profile. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/03/bit-about-soft-proofing.html
  17. Page 26 seems to give some indication of circumstances when colour adjustments aren't available?
  18. Hi Rachael, is it all reds and oranges, or only the richer ones?
  19. Right. And make sure your focal length and everything else remain exactly the same. No. Whites must be white, no matter what.
  20. So would you say that the old lights show the backdrop colour better? It looks like you misunderstood my instructions. I wanted your camera to remain in exactly the same spot, and the tripod bearing the sheet to move.
