  1. @Eva Fifer here are the instructions for the beard ... Duplicate the Background layer. Immediately convert that layer to a Smart Object. Duplicate that layer again. Now you have the Background layer, plus two identical Smart Object layers above it. Clip the top layer to the middle layer. Apply Dust & Scratches filter to the top layer, with values 20/0. Then change that layer's blend mode to "Multiply". (At this stage, the whole photo will look weirdly dark and glowy and blurry.) Return to the middle layer, and run High Pass filter at 0.8 radius. (Now the photo will look less glowy, but still awfully dark and blurry.) Add a black mask to that layer. (Now the photo looks normal again.) Use a low opacity white brush to paint onto the beard. Let me know how it goes.
  2. In that case, you'd better try resetting Bridge's preferences. Hopefully that works, because if not, the next option is to reset Photoshop's preferences.
  3. I definitely don't have a better suggestion than that. It looks flawless.
  4. You've double-checked that both Bridge and Photoshop are completely updated?
  5. They're both excellent.
  6. The arrows indicate that they are aliases, not the real files, don't they? Where is your G drive backed up to? Have you checked the backup drive to see if you can open them from there?

  8. Lol, no, I just googled "seafoam blue" and tried to use that as a rough guide.
  9. What do you think of something like this?
  10. Come on @rswannabe!
  11. How did it turn out?
  12. At the very bottom of this page.
  13. No, that should be it.
  14. If it's not visible in Photoshop, it's nothing to worry about.
  15. Of course, just select the path then modify it.
  16. Just select the 16 layer, then go to Fx at the bottom of the Layers panel.
  17. Nice. Are you going to add the stroke and the drop shadow too?

  19. I guess you'd put the numbers layer first, then clip all the photo layers to it.
  20. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Tools>Photoshop>Image Processor will do it.
  21. Well, you should definitely try it in Photoshop first. If, after a few times, you feel it's not working for you, then cough up for a subscription. https://www.damiensymonds.net/2012/05/create-your-own-wall-guides.html
  22. The other classes will blow your mind, but for these particular photos you've shown me, the Raw Class is the one.
  23. https://www.damiensymonds.net/trainingraw.html The Raw Class first.
