  1. I'm glad Rohan is here, because I don't know a damn thing about Pixieset.
  2. All of your questions are COMPLETELY irrelevant until you've done that print comparison.
  3. I'm confused - have you, or have you not, verified your calibration result by comparison to pro lab prints?
  4. Are you following my calibration instructions here? https://www.damiensymonds.net/calibration-instructions/
  5. No.
  6. https://www.damiensymonds.net/which-monitor-calibrator-to-buy/
  7. You have a Macbook, yes?
  8. Hang on, have you tried plugging it in to a different USB port? Or a different computer entirely? Let's not run out and buy a new calibrator straight away.
  9. Are you sure you've got the device plugged in to your computer? It usually shows "Demo" until you do. Regarding tutorials, see if it matches this one: https://ask.damiensymonds.net/topic/58525-ccdp-m01/
  10. Yep, do exactly what it says. Head to the Calibrite website to get the new software from there.
  11. xmp files are created even when you just apply star ratings to files. If you'd starred them before starting, that's probably what the xmp files are for.
  12. It's what I'm using now. I like it.
  13. How did you go, @Mary Burgy?
  14. Great. If you have a photo open right now, ready to prepare for web, tell me about it. What file format is it? Does it have layers?
  15. Okay, can you read this and let me know when you have done so? https://www.damiensymonds.net/2011/02/selling-digital-images.html
  16. No, as long as you're not hoping to use the wall with your white balance dropper.
  17. So ... why HAVEN'T you updated Photoshop?
  18. Hi @LJ Light, Brian will be along shortly to give you a hand. Could you do this for him?
  19. I figure you would do it something like this: https://max.mailbigfile.com/2807e9b740b5cb46392e94f1c8b06dd7/listFiles.php But this would be the very last step in the workflow. You'd finish your clean editing first.
  20. Well, this is a great project to start on! Just play around. Be prepared for the fact that you'll mess it up a few times, but that's okay. Start over, and embrace the learning journey.
  21. Liquify. https://max.mailbigfile.com/98fdf9a9a60b2686ba7e34f922bae4c5/listFiles.php The trouble is, it's difficult to know when to stop. It's hard to know when it's perfect, you know? Make sure you convert the layer to a smart object before liquifying (which I didn't do) so that you can come back and tweak it as often as you wish.
  22. You should definitely pick paint that matches your sheet. Which these samples don't.
