  1. I know you didn't ask for this advice, but I urge you to not have those little corner lines quite so close to the edges. If they get the printing or cutting alignment a little bit wrong, it will look really obvious that those are uneven. I'd bring them in a bit. Will write back about the text thing shortly.
  2. Hi Rae, may I see a screenshot of what you've designed so far, including your layers panel?
  3. The 1/60th has bitten you here, hasn't it? The motion blur. I would understand if, in desperation, you pushed this one through. But I urge you to discard it.

  5. No. If the only problem is vivid reds, and the rest of the photos match ok, there's nothing else that calibration can do. It's all about the soft-proofing from here.
  6. Then we're back where we started. Vivid reds need to be corrected using the soft-proofing profile. But if you can't get the profile, you're just going to have to live with this, and do your best.
  7. Is it ALL reds? Or only the very vivid bright reds?
  8. This is BS and you know it. You can't just add some blue to your pics and say you've solved a problem. CALIBRATE YOUR DARN SCREEN.
  9. Yes, it's great, don't worry.
  10. Yes, I do. I don't think anybody would give it a second glance, and that's all that matters.
  11. We are of the same mind. I thought I did ok with the lining up, though. Download PSD I made sure my liquifying hardly affected the neckline at all.
  12. Yes, liquify might be tricky. But still, do you mind if I try? We should rule it out definitively before attempting the more complex option. So may I see a crop of the full width of her body?
  13. Are you thinking you'd like to move the dress across, kinda here?
  14. Have you calibrated the new screen yet?
  15. Yay, this is great! Use these calibration instructions: http://www.damiensymonds.net/cal_i1DP_pc1.html
  16. No they're DEFINITELY not. Don't lock yourself in to paying monthly forever more.
  17. Yes, that statement would seem to suggest that would be a good idea.
  18. Well, it would be safest not to assume anything. It's possible they are saving as PNG, and if that's the case, then yes, 24-bit is essential. The other option is 8-bit, which will be very poor quality. What software do they have?
  19. Yes, definitely. Yes, perfect. All photos are 24-bit (well, most, anyway). What file format are they saving as?
  20. Yeah, this kind of thing has been discussed occasionally. https://www.facebook.com/groups/195567190503489/permalink/940282226031978/
