  1. Perfect.
  2. As long as you're sure they're not too wide ... ?
  3. Oh yes, that's excellent.
  4. There must be a black-and-white layer in the group that's desaturating everything underneath it. Just add a mask to the group and make sure it's only being applied to its half of the file.
  5. Well, if you really did use a vector mask, that's your problem. Never use vector masks for this. May I see a screenshot of your whole screen?
  6. You'll need to apply some cooling filter to the angry warm parts of the face at the top left, won't you?
  7. No, sorry. I'm not aware Bridge has ever had that feature. It's the domain of the camera manufacturer's own software - eg NX for Nikon, DPP for Canon, etc.
  8. Blowouts.
  9. Excellent. So now, as long as you have soft-proofing turned on while editing, your histogram will be accurate and you'll be able to edit without the clipping in his face.
  10. I can't think of a better way. You've done amazingly well.
  11. Hi Whitney, did you browse this forum before posting? Lots and lots of people have asked questions about laptops. I'm sure you'll find the info you need.
  12. It will change your situation from "Blending these photos is impossible!!!!!" to possible.
  13. Let's take it one step at a time. First, this: http://www.damiensymonds.net/color-space-settings-for-the-lightroom-user.html Also, for later, this: http://www.damiensymonds.net/bridge-30-day-challenge
  14. Well, have you fixed your colour space?
  15. No, not the opacity, the hardness!!!!! Brush hardness must always be at 0, always.
  16. Well, either of the versions you posted could work, but why are you working with hard-edged brushes? That's catastrophic.
  17. No, sorry mate, you'll have to do a lot better than that, there's a lot of clipping at both ends. To start, do this.
  18. No, I mean the original photos. Did you not have enough room to step back a bit?
  19. Gee, what happened? Why are they all chopped off?
  20. Raw processing must always, and entirely, come before any Photoshop work, yes.
  21. Ok, may I see a screenshot of your screen, including that Brush panel?
  22. Oh dear, Barb. Read Module 11 of the Raw Class again.
  23. No, I'll need the Brush Tool selected.
