  1. Are you viewing on your laptop screen? Or do you have a desktop screen plugged into the laptop?
  2. How are you doing it, though? Please be hyper-vigilant about banding.
  3. I tried Channel Mixer, which is the usual way, but the result was no better than simply masking. The more pressing issue is this: I need to know how you intend to do that, exactly.
  4. I'm so sorry, I don't have any tricks for you on this one. Just painstaking masking.
  5. I reckon a Hue/Sat layer, at +50, -45, -60 on the Master channel.
  6. SO sorry about my delayed reply. Have you gone to Settings>Settings (or hit F12), then gone to the CMS tab to make sure Color Management is turned on? Also, do this check, as usual.
  7. Ok, so if it was my logo, I think I'd want the middle part of the paint to be nice and strong and solid, but the lighter edges to be a tiny bit see-through, so that if I used it as a watermark, I could slightly see the photo through those areas. Eg: However, it's your logo, not mine, so I'm happy to help you to do it any way you like.
  8. You've pulled the sliders as far as they will go, and it's still not enough? That's extremely unusual.
  9. Ok! Is it a layered file? I mean, does it have transparency around it, or only white?
  10. Do you mean you can't see any visual change when you adjust the sliders in Spydertune?
  11. I'm going to move this into Brian's section, because he is much more qualified to help with this. I wanted to ask, though, have you formatted the flash drive?
  12. Oh, sorry! C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color
  13. You should certainly back up the profile, yes, because it might be better than nothing. But you will need to borrow the calibrator again once your new card is up and running.
  14. Great. So I suggest trying Cooling Filter LBB for the warm cast on the back.
  15. If you need help with the processing, yes of course, you're welcome to do so.
  16. Yes, I'm confident I can help with this. Go ahead and do your raw processing as normal, then post again and we'll discuss the flare.
  17. There's no science to it. That just seemed to be an angle that was suited to the angle at which the light is flowing in the photo.
  18. Gosh no! Once you do your raw processing, then the cast correction, it'll look beautiful.
  19. That's excellent. Really good quality. Have no fear, my friend. The print will look excellent. Make sure you send a PDF file to the printer, not a jpeg. http://www.damiensymonds.net/2010/05/making-pdfs-from-photoshop.html
