  1. Page 26 seems to give some indication of circumstances when colour adjustments aren't available?
  2. Hi Rachael, is it all reds and oranges, or only the richer ones?
  3. Right. And make sure your focal length and everything else remain exactly the same. No. Whites must be white, no matter what.
  4. So would you say that the old lights show the backdrop colour better? It looks like you misunderstood my instructions. I wanted your camera to remain in exactly the same spot, and the tripod bearing the sheet to move.
  5. Interesting. I'd be incredibly interested to see you put the WB sheet on a tripod, and take a series of photos with the sheet standing progressively further away from the camera.
  6. Great. That's my understanding too. It's just because of the nature of indoor light. It changes over a very short distance. This is perfectly normal.
  7. Different distances might help, but you'll never know which distances are going to work or not I'm saying lost cause.
  8. Well, you'd probably try both Wide LED and GB-LED.
  9. Darn. I'm so sorry, I've got nothing
  10. Thanks. It's nasty. First, try the moire brush in ACR.
  11. @CarmenRM PLEASE dive into your Raw Class! Your membership time has almost run out.
  12. No, you're missing the point. Your options haven't disappeared.
  13. Could you send me this raw file? https://spaces.hightail.com/uplink/BellePhotography
  14. Not EVERY time. But yes, the risk will always be there. If you were further away, or closer to, the dress when taking this photo, the moire might not have appeared. Moire is an effect which happens when the fabric pattern is about the same size and the pixels on your sensor.
  15. I'm so sorry, I don't know what that means. My version doesn't have it.
  16. That's not the "generic" I was referring to.
  17. I wish your bulbs gave a broader "spread of light" if you know what I mean. Very directional light like that can be problematic. But it looks like you've chosen the best position in the circumstances. Lights above your head is ideal, and the wall is nice and neutral in colour.
  18. That's a good one, yes. But make sure you do your own research, to make sure it works with your computer.
  19. Yes, X-Rite, exactly as I said. https://www.damiensymonds.net/which-monitor-calibrator-to-buy/
  20. I've read that the Spyders can't calibrated the M1s at all. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/253440632 I don't know if that's still the case. But if it is, then you'll need to look at the X-Rite devices.
  21. Ok, then try another one.
