  1. Gee, don't start removing a background until the raw editing is done.
  2. In that case, there IS a problem with your room light. It needs to be bright enough to compare prints.
  3. Ok, for now let's rule out a lighting problem. Lighting problems are more common when the screen is cooler than the prints. Do you have another computer in the house you can test the calibrator on? (It doesn't need to be an editing computer - any old computer will do.)
  4. In cases like this it's always important to check if the problem is the calibrator itself. So to that end, have you tried calibrating a different computer, to see what the result is?
  5. If orange bulbs were the problem, then your screen would look colder than your prints. But you said your screen looks warmer than the prints, didn't you?
  6. Anything to report?
  7. Ok. Even though these instructions are for the Spyder5, not the 4, I think you should read the "Part 9: Troubleshooting" at the bottom: https://www.damiensymonds.net/cal_S5P_mac.html See if any of that info helps.
  8. The monitor is warmer than the prints? Or the other way around?
  9. Hi Kimberly, what's the problem exactly? In what way is it going wrong?
  10. Hmmm ... probably ok.
  11. Since they've already seen it, you'd better go with it. But don't let 'em print too big! In future, DON'T let anyone see photos that aren't perfect.
  12. If this is a client, they should NEVER have seen it.
  13. When you say "Mum" ... do you mean your wife? Is this your own child?
  14. Yay! Thanks for letting me know.
  15. Well, by doing the raw processing on both photos so that they match as closely as possible.
  16. Just the first option for now. For the folder you're in.
  17. Have you tried purging the cache? (In the Tools folder)
  18. Simplicity??? Read this thread again. Tell me where the simplicity is.
  19. Thank you. I can't figure out the cause of the problem, and I can't make my Bridge do it. So you'd better reset Bridge's preferences. http://blogs.adobe.com/jkost/2009/10/resetting_bridges_preferences.html
  20. Unchecked, I'd say. Since the resolution has already been established. You can't go on living like this, mate. It's time to make your life MUCH easier. https://www.damiensymonds.net/bridge-30-day-challenge
  21. The resolution at which you send the files from Lightroom to PS is irrelevant, don't worry. As long as you're entering the correct size and resolution in PS's crop tool, that's all that matters.
  22. Also, can you check this little menu to make sure it is set to "Always high quality"?
