  1. Yes, that noise removal is fine, and yes, the focus is quite acceptable.
  2. Sorry, I need you to have removed the noise before posting these.
  3. I have a Nvidia one too, but its Control Panel is really feeble. I don't know if there's somewhere I'm not looking. I hope you have more luck than I did.
  4. Oh bother. I seem to remember somebody else had this problem too. It's ok, you just have to do the steps slightly differently. First, crop the area without any values imposed at all. Then open the Image Size dialog, and turn off the "Resample Image" checkbox. Then enter your width in the Width field. As you do this, the Resolution will change by itself, and that's the number you write down.
  5. I know you said leave the join, but maybe you could have one more crack at persuading her with something like this?
  6. In that case, what would you want to do with the rug he's sitting on?
  7. I adore my Asus ROG ("Republic of Gamers") laptop. Its IPS screen is divine. I've had it for many years of daily use, and it's never missed a beat.
  8. Sorry, I can't discuss this here. Only in the Levels Class.
  9. Yeah, no, sorry. Ditch it. Your f/2.8 has screwed with you here. The nose is sharp, the eyebrows are almost sharp, but the eyes are not. A narrower aperture would have saved you.
  10. Yeah, that's less yellow, and much nicer in my opinion. The skin looks completely awful. SO much clipping.
  11. What the heck, @Cleyvosier???? You're posting on POTN now? I'm trying and trying and TRYING to help you here. I assume you're calibrating the Dell now? Here are the instructions to use: https://www.damiensymonds.net/cal_CMD_pc.html
  12. One of the Crop Tool settings should be "WxHxResolution" - is that right? It's the one that's ticked in this screenshot: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-M8RAa8SC5go/VIndVW1j_fI/AAAAAAAAWHA/hHS3LUHDI1g/s1600/save%2Bcrop%2Bpreset.jpg
  13. That's easy to fix. Follow the troubleshooting section of the instructions.
  14. Yes, I know, you already told me that. I want to know HOW they compare? Does the MacBook screen match the prints?
  15. Please @Cleyvosier, I really want to help.
  16. Ok, remind me of the change you made to your calibration, that caused this change?
  17. You know that your iPhone is completely irrelevant, right? Any match is entirely a fluke.
  18. In my opinion, complete overkill. Just get a regular tablet to replace your mouse. As you say, they are for artists. In addition to Brian's thoughts, it always comes back to the last paragraph in this article. Don't do it.
  19. I suspect it might be called Kuler now? Are you sure your Photoshop is up to date?
  20. Don't mention it. Glad it was an easy fix in the end PLEASE don't wait any longer to take the Sharpening Class. It will rock your world.
  21. It seems very unlikely. But hey, try it and see. You'll soon know.
