  1. What's not working? The screen itself? Or the Spyder? Well, you should loosely adjust the brightness so that it's a close match to your prints.
  2. Of course it's blurred, isn't that why you chose it? It's lovely.
  3. Great! Just tidy up the mask around the lady's head, is all.
  4. Make sure you do your normal raw processing on the photos first, of course.
  5. Just overlay, then mask. Exactly as I taught you in class.
  6. What? No, you do it!
  7. Sure! That'll work.
  8. I think the first one would be better. Some of the photos are too pale in the second one. I think it would be done with Channel Mixer. Go ahead and do the normal editing first.
  9. Well, the best place would be your own library. Have you ever shot some lovely Fall scenery in other years?
  10. If you go to the "Color Management" control panel, you should be able to remove the Spyder profile there. Let me know if you have any trouble.

  12. Yeah, sorry. Your Spyder4 is just too old for the modern screen technology, especially the touchscreen technology. Time for a new one Until you can afford a new one, plug an external desktop monitor into your laptop and calibrate it and edit on it.
  13. Hi @Ct80, which model Spyder do you have? How old is it, exactly?
  14. It'll be very simple to fix the glasses. You're right, they're not too bad at all. Maybe they don't need fixing at all!
  15. Yep, that's exactly right.
  16. You're really really going to need the sharpening class for these. Please don't delay, it's not a quick class.
  17. Hmmm ... maybe f/5.6 was too shallow here. The lady in red is in excellent focus, but the people in back are a bit off. But don't worry, you got away with it. This will be ok.
  18. What??? No, it's not the lens's fault! It did an amazing job in the light that you gave it.
  19. Could you do a quick Exposure bump and noise removal on this one? I'm having trouble seeing.
  20. This focus is great!
  21. While it's not quite perfect, it's definitely passable.
  22. Yeah, there's no need to have both, I don't think.
  23. Yep. That's exactly the kind of stupid shit actions do. You don't need to duplicate the Background layer for that. Just add an adjustment layer (eg Levels or whatever, it doesn't matter) and change it to Screen mode. It does the same thing, with MUCH smaller file size.
